On Tuesday, Hong Kong police reported the disappearance of Cai Tianfeng (Abby Choi), a 28-year-old model. Police later made a disturbing discovery in Lung Mei Village, Tai Po, where they found Choi’s dismembered body, indicating that she had been the victim of a brutal murder. On Sunday, her head was found in a three-story house in rural Tai Po.
After that horrific discovery, which added to the already gruesome details of the case, a meat slicer and an electric saw were also found at the crime scene.

Investigations into Choi’s murder led to the arrest of her ex-husband, Alex Kwong, his brother Anthony, and their father, Kau Kwong, who were all charged with her murder. Additionally, Kwong’s mother, age 63, was accused of impeding the investigation. They were all denied bail on Monday.

Alex Kwong was arrested on Saturday while attempting to flee the city on a speedboat. On Sunday, police arrested a fifth suspect who was linked to Choi’s father-in-law. According to Hong Kong authorities, Choi and her former in-laws had several disputes involving significant amounts of money.

Abby Choi was a well-known Hong Kong socialite, a successful model, and had been recently featured on the cover of L’Officiel Monaco, a luxury lifestyle magazine. With over 117K Instagram followers, her brutal murder and dismemberment have shocked the public and her fans.
Choi was the mother of four children, two with her ex-husband Alex Kwong and two with her partner Chris Tam.
It is important that justice is served and those responsible for Choi’s murder are held accountable for their heinous actions.
