Amybeth McNulty (born on November 7, 2001) is a 20 years old Irish-Canadian actress famous for her role as Anne Shirley-Cuthbert in a Netflix series named “Anne with an E.”  She was also in “Black Medicine,” “Morgan,” and “The Sparticle Mystery.”

In 2022, this beautiful actress rose into popularity after landing the role of Vickie in season 4 of a highly-anticipated series titled “Stranger Things,” which aired on May 27.

Early Life

On November 7, 2001, Amybeth McNulty (age 20 years) took birth at the home of her Canadian mother, Siobhan McNulty, and Irish father in Letterkenny, Donegal, Ireland. Amy used to be a member of An Grianán Theatre. Because of Amy’s daily involvement in theatre, she did homeschooling till her high school graduation.

Other than theatre, the 2nd reason for McNulty’s homeschooling was her acting career’s early start. She was only 13 when she played the role of Ariadne Pleasant in a 2014 short movie named “A Risky Undertaking.”

Everything was going well for Amybeth, and then suddenly, her mother fell sick. The exact cause of Siobhan’s illness is unknown, but it took her life, and the actress revealed her mom’s demise on Instagram.

Just after working on the short movie Amy got a chance to work in a 2014 series named “Agatha Raisin,” where her role was of Young Agatha. She performed so well that the casting directors of “Clean Break” gave her the part of Jenny Rane.

She became a famous face in the English movie industry in no time. From 2015 to 2017, she worked on different projects, including film & shows like “The Sparticle Mystery” and “Morgan.”  But her big break came in 2017 from a show called “Anne with an E.”

In this production of Moira Walley-Beckett, Amybeth performed the lead role. Her performance impressed viewers so much that she won the Canadian Screen Award for Best Lead Actress and the ACTRA Toronto Award in the Outstanding Performance – Female category.
