Danisha Danielle Houston Wrighster was born on January 22, 1976, in Los Angeles, California, the United States, and was raised by a single father; she lost her mother when she was just a kid, along with her brother, Nathaniel Hoston; they tried to help out as much as they could at home. She attended Cleveland High School, later pursued Mass Communication, and specialized in business administration at the University of California, Los Angeles.

She graduated from high school at the age of 16 and began her studies at UCLA, where she earned a BA in Mass Communications with a specialty in Business Administration.

At just 16, she had already decided upon her whole career path, but things changed when she turned 20. She was pregnant with her first baby while still in college, she had her job and her college sweetheart, and things looked good for her, but it started to fall apart when her boyfriend was diagnosed with cancer; he passed away shortly after the birth of their daughter.

To take care of herself with her daughter, Danisha Danielle Wrighster started her journey by blogging on a website called Mom Logic, where she would write about anything interesting or something new she learned or discovered while being a single mom; writing on financial topics, she aimed to educate young mothers on how to handle things, especially if they are the sole provider.

From here, she began to appear on TV shows; in 2014, her first project was announced as a host on a digital series created by Oprah Winfrey Network; she was a part f it for 4 seasons, where her role was to interview guests, like Oprah magazine experts, celebrities, and leading experts, talking about their life and living habits, she worked here for one and a half year.
