In the fourth game of the IPL 2020, Rajasthan Royals began their campaign by beating CSK by 16 runs.
Batting first after losing the toss, Rajasthan’s team set a target of 216 runs to win ahead of Chennai, in reaction to which Dhoni’s team could only manage 200 runs by losing six wickets in 20 overs.
Sanju Samson scored 74 runs out of just 32 deliveries, including nine sixes and four, holding the spinners on track. He and Steve Smith broke 59 of 47 balls with four fours and 6s, scoring 121 runs for the second wicket.
Simultaneously, Jofra Archer hit 27 runs off just eight balls with four sixes in the last lungi ngidi and reached 216 for seven wickets. CSK began the Innings quite understandably in reaction.
Watson and Murali Vijay had rained, proving challenging for the Rajasthan bowlers, but it was a game-changer for Rajasthan. Rahul Tewatia, who took Watson’s wickets and Gaikwad on his balls all the time, but the Chennai team in trouble.
Although the Faf was at the other end and the pace of the runs persisted, the Chennai batsmen scored one end, while the tickets also declined from the other end, which put Rajasthan under pressure on Chennai.
However, in the last round, Dhoni beat amazingly and gave the mighty sixes off three consecutive balls to give the fans a chance to cheer. Dhoni’s beating revealed that the bating is still alive in Dhoni.
CSK may have lost the match by 16 runs, but Dhoni’s batting captured the hearts of the fans.
