13-years-old Siiri Solalinna (born in 2009) is a Finnish actress who debuted in the film industry through Hanna Bergholm’s horror movie “Hatching.” The young female artist in this movie played the lead role of a 16 years old girl named Tinja. Sophia Heikkilä played the role of Siiri’s on-screen mother, whereas Jani Volanen portrayed her father’s character.
The life of the main character Tinja is filled with the compulsive pleasing of her mother. To earn her mother’s love, Tinja hides all her negative feelings from her. One night the little girl finds a strange bird egg.
She hides the egg in her room and incubates it secretly under her blanket until something hatches from the egg that upsets them all. A perfect home turns into a scene of horror. Several foreign film media have published more praiseworthy reviews of the Finnish film.
