A nationwide search is underway for a Tennessee school Teacher Eliza, who was kidnapped on September 2 early morning while running near the University of Memphis campus. Eliza Fletcher, 34, is a mother of two kids and the wife of Richie Fletcher, and many agencies are currently coordinating her search.
It’s been a little over 12 hours since Eliza Fletcher went missing, and numerous agencies have joined forces, as we mentioned. We can tell you that there’s a lot of anxiety in the community as time passes.
What happened to Eliza Fletcher?
That’s the question many people in the MidSouth are wondering after detectives say the Jogger was kidnapped.
Fletcher was jogging down Central Avenue at 4:30 this morning when she was accosted by someone who pushed her into a dark-colored SUV and drove away, according to authorities.
“Hart Robinson is a friend of Fletcher’s, and when he heard the news this morning, he immediately went to the location of Central Avenue and Zach Curlin St, where she was last seen.”
Fletcher’s mobile phone and a water bottle were spotted in front of a University of Memphis residence, prompting a safety notice to be sent to students. According to authorities, she was reported missing after failing to come home from her run.
The SUV that she was last seen and was spotted driving westbound down Central Avenue. Multiple organizations, including the FBI, work together to find Eliza Fletcher.
“Police are concerned about finding Ms. Fletcher, so if anyone knows where she is, please call the police immediately.”
To be clear, Fletcher was last spotted in a pink jogging top and blue shorts. If you have any information or have seen anything suspicious, please get in touch with the police. Even her family has offered a $50,000 reward for information leading to her safe return.
