18 years old Yasmin Finney (born on August 30, 2003) is a trans woman female artist whose popularity increased exponentially after the release of “Heartstopper,” a Netflix series on April 22.
It is based on Alice Oseman’s graphic novel, which portrays the love story of two young schoolboys named Charlie Spring (Joe Locke) and Nick Nelson (Kit Connor). Yasmin performed the role of Elle Argent, one of Charlie’s best friends who gave him advice on how to approach Nick.
In an interview with Attitude magazine, Yasmin revealed that she could relate herself to the character she played. She also expressed how helpful Oseman was during the shooting for the show, and she helped to stay calm and be natural.
