Rob Heaps was born in York, England, (on July 11, 1983) and spent most of his childhood there; even though coming from a British background, he manages to do an American accent so well that he might even pass out as one, Rob has kept a low profile regarding his family tree not much is known about his parents, he, however, has a younger brother Tim Heaps.

He had wanted a career in acting since he was a little kid. To pursue his dream, he left and started his training at St. Petersburg State Academy of Theatrical Arts, Russia and attended the London Academy Of Music & Dramatic Art for a while, and then went on to study two major languages, French and Russian at Cambridge University, he graduated with MA First Class Honors Distinction.

To improve his acting skills if Heaps ever wanted to survive in this industry, so he began his journey in UK Theatre, TV, and Radio; a few of his best production of plays are “King Lear,” “Pride and Prejudice,” and “While The Sun Shines” all performed on the bright stages of London, the theater had helped him to improve his acting skills before he stepped into US screen work.

Rob Heaps started a little late on TV; he was 28 years old by the time he landed his first ever role in the TV series “Law And Order: UK” in 2011; it then took him 3 years to get any other projects, finally by 2014 he was working in a television film “Frankenstein and the Vampyre: A Dark and Stormy Night” as Lord Byron.

Things started to look good for him a year later when he was featured in 3 TV series, “Life in Squares,” “Doctors,” and “And Then There Were None” were all supporting roles; he made it big in “Home Fires” and “Imposters” he was recognized for his role as Ezra Bloom; this was the breakthrough he needed.
