The story of “Black Bird” is based on a fictional character named Jimmy Keene, who gets 10 years in prison, but the FBI offers to reduce his sentence. But to lessen the punishment, Keene must get a man named Larry Hall to confess his crime.

Early Life

On September 18, 1985, Sepideh Moafi (age 36 years) was born in a refugee camp in Regensburg, Germany, to an Iranian mother, Soraya, and father, Enayat Moafi. Shortly after her birth, she left Germany with her older sister and her parents for the United States. After coming to America, her parents sought asylum and applied for refugee status. Later all the family members became citizens of the U.S. and began living in Los Angeles.

When Sepideh was a kid, she used to be a student at a musical theatre. She was 15 when SFCM (San Francisco Conservatory of Music) offered her a scholarship. In 2007 the girl completed her Bachelor’s degree in Music and Vocal Art from SFCM, but the girl of Iranian background wanted to study more, so she joined the University of California Irvine and Master’s in fine arts.

As soon as Maofi completed her studies, she started giving auditions in search of an acting job. It took a while, but she finally landed her first role in a show named “Blue Bloods.” It was a crime drama based on the lives of the families of N.Y. cops. Sepideh got to be in a single episode playing the role of a Muslim girl named Aaliya Zaki. The following year she landed the role of Frida Moussaf in James Foley’s T.V. movie called “Red Zone.”

In 2014 she not only appeared in “Red Zone” but was also a part of different productions such as “Unforgettable,” “Nurse Jackie,” “The Good Wife,” and “Black Box.” On the one hand, this American actress was earning a name in the T.V. world; on the other hand, offers started coming for her to play roles in films.
