Who was Adina Azarian?

Adina Azarian (age 49 years; 1974 to June 4, 2023) was an East Hampton real estate agent who tragically lost her life in a private jet crash, along with her toddler daughter, nanny, and the pilot, on June 4, 2023

She was a devoted mother and had a successful career in the competitive real estate markets of New York. Adina was on board a private Cessna Citation when the plane made an unexpected turn and lost contact as it approached Long Island MacArthur Airport.

The exact cause of the crash is still under investigation, but experts speculate that the occupants may have experienced hypoxia, leading to a loss of consciousness.

How did Adina Azarian’s Plane Crashed?

The private jet carrying Adina Azarian, her nanny, and the pilot departed Elizabethton Municipal Airport in Tennessee, bound for Long Island’s MacArthur Airport in New York.

However, tragedy struck when the plane crashed near Montebello in the Blue Ridge Mountains, claiming the lives of everyone on board.

Experts speculate that the pilot and passengers may have experienced hypoxia, a lack of oxygen, causing them to lose consciousness. The plane, possibly on autopilot, veered off course, flying over restricted airspace in Washington, D.C

D.C. officials were alerted to the plane’s entry into restricted airspace, prompting F-16 pilots to intercept and assess the situation. Thankfully, they determined that the Cessna jet posed no threat, but tragically, the plane crashed shortly afterward.
