Moon So-ri (age: 48 years; born on July 2, 1974) is a South Korean known for extensive work in the entertainment industry. Records show that in the last two decades, she worked on over 32 films and 9 TV shows.

She is most popularly recognized as Han Mi-sook from the 2008 movie “Forever the Moment.” Her performance as Obstetrician in “The Housemaid” was also fantastic. In 2021 her portrayal of Dang Ja Young in the TV series “On the Verge of Insanity” earned her wide fame; a couple of years later, she made waves with her performance as Goo I-jeong in Lee Dong-yoon’s “Race.”

Eventually, she and her family moved to Seoul, where she joined Seokchon Middle School. Following high school, she studied at Sungkyunkwan University and earned a BFA. At 25, she auditioned for director Lee Chang-dong’s “Peppermint Candy,” luckily, she got selected.

Three years later, Moon stepped onto the silver screen in a groundbreaking film titled “Oasis.” Her portrayal of a woman with cerebral palsy was powerful, earning her praise from critics and audiences alike.
