Kieran Tamondong (born on June 15, 2001) is a 21 years old young Filipino actor currently living in Los Angeles, California; he has been in and out of the limelight due to his martial arts skills and acting career.

As a skilled athlete, he has won the title of martial arts world champion 17 times, but recently he has been the talk of the town not for his Karate skills but for a role he bagged in a series.

Tamondong was seen playing the character Konerak Sinthasomphone in the biography crime drama, “Dahmer – Monster: The Jeffrey Dahmer Story,” he plays a 14-year-old Latino kid who ends up being one of the victims of the sadistic serial killer Jeffrey Dahmer.

He is seen alongside some well-known faces, like Evan Peters as the lead, Richard Jenkins and Michael Beach, and this is one of the breakthrough roles Kieran was patiently waiting for.

He made the Junior US Team and went on to represent the country in international karate tournaments, once in Pan Americans in Ecuador and at the Jr World Championships in Chile. Along with his honor, he has also won a total of 24 Division Championships in Black Belt Forms and 8 Grand Championships.

From Karate to Acting

Kieran’s first appearance in front of a camera was in a 2017 Music Video by Michelle Delamor; it was a video related to Martial Arts, which the young talent happily agreed to perform.

He was then seen in several TV commercials where he was the lead in all of them; a few noteworthy ads would be a clip for Skechers where he showed off his parkour skills; that ad was loved so much that it was aired over 700 times, he was then seen in two ads for Power Rangers Ninja Steel and for a Skechers / Nerf Collaboration, he was a leading face for Cadbury “Yowie” Chocolate, Asian World of Martial Arts and Anti-Smoking PSA too.

Tamondong stepped into mainstream media with his first TV series, “Gwen’s World of Weird,” where he played the role of Patrick and went on to do small roles here and there in projects like “Pushing Skills,” “Naruto: Kakashi vs. Obito,” he played Young Obito Uchiha and was also seen in, “Ryan’s Mystery Playdate,” as a Karate Blackbelt.

He won hearts when he was featured on the sixth episode of the NBC show “Little Big Shots” as The Karate Kid; he spent 25 minutes on the couch with the host Steve Harvey, teaching him a few moves, having fun and playing around, it was a delight for the audiences.

In 2020, Kieran’s life began changing when he landed his first feature film, “The Paper Tigers,” where he played Young Danny; this is not all; she is also seen dancing in the background of Beyoncé’s “Lemonade, Hold up” Music Video and in “Star Wars Kids,” as the lead Kylo-Ren.
